ALTERNET STUDIO 6.2

AlterNET Studio 6.2 is a service pack release containing bug fixes for Code Editor and Form Designer.

Bug fixes include:

  • Bugs introduced with supporting the latest version (3.6.0) of Microsoft CodeAnalysis libraries

  • Bugs with WinForms Form Designer for Visual Basic

  • Exception in code completion with LSP-based PowerShell parser

Below is a full list of changes in this release: 

Code Editor 

  - The bug with Memory Leak related to Bookmarks in Code Editor has been fixed.

  - The bug with Code Completion Listbox not closing by Tab key has been fixed.

  - The bug with an intermittent exception with reference highlighting in C#/Visual Basic parser has been fixed.

  - Exception with Signature Help in Visual Basic Roslyn parser has been fixed.

LangServer.org (LSP) parsers:

  - The ArgumentOutOfRange exception in PowerShell Code Completion has been fixed. 

  + Custom assemblies are now supported in PowerShell Code Completion.

Form Designer

  - The bug with incorrect event handler generation in WinForms Form designer for Visual Basic has been fixed.

  - The bug with Form Designer not working correctly in the case of the custom namespace used in Visual Basic has been fixed.
