AlterNET Studio 11.0 released

AlterNET Studio 11 brings NET 10 Support, Visual Studio 2026 Integration, and Cross-Platform Enhancements.
10 August 2025

We’re pleased to announce the official release of AlterNET Studio 11.0, a major update that introduces the first public release of AlterNET Studio X, our new generation of cross-platform libraries for code editing, C#, Visual Basic, and Python scripting and debugging.

This release also adds Visual Studio 2026 compatibility, .NET 10 support across all component libraries, and numerous improvements to the Code Editor, Scripter, and Form Designer.

Key Highlights of AlterNET Studio 11.0:

.NET 10 support

All core libraries and NuGet packages now fully support .NET 10, providing access to the latest .NET features, performance improvements, and development tools.

To ensure compatibility with existing applications, we continue to support .NET Framework 4.6.2 and later via NuGet packages.

A complete list of supported core libraries is available on the download page.

Visual Studio 2026 extension

A new Visual Studio 2026 extension allows developers to use AlterNET Studio components directly from the Visual Studio Toolbox.

All AlterNET Studio NuGet packages are also compatible with both Visual Studio 2026 and Visual Studio 2022, making it easy to integrate the latest components into existing and new projects.
